I'm really excited to see that I'm not the only person who's interested in restoring a G-100 with diesel motor As far as I know, there isn't a single super clean g-100 diesel turbo in Pakistan (even if it's there, I haven't seen one). Any good (and honest) painting technician can easily fix this thing, just make sure to make it rust-free. As for the engine, you should definitely rebuild its original diesel engine if it's never been opened since import to Pakistan. If it's already been overhauled just one time, again you can do it but it also depends on millage and damage done to the motor. If this is the case, you can go to Kabari market with experienced (and again, an honest one) mechanic and hunt a good diesel engine. It's very easy to find one because hundreds of Charade owners swapped diesel by petrol engines during 2007-2012 (CNG era) and some of the engines were factory sealed. But first you should consider rebuilding the one already there with the car.
Now talking about 1C, please DO NOT do this at home, it's not even done by professionals under controlled environment
1N is a possibility, but finding a clean engine is a real headache. Remember! the original diesel turbo engine is very efficient yet powerful (though little noisy) stick to the original engine.
I (dis)agree, the first part of your statement is awesome but the last part is awful because the parts are NOT 5 times expensive (this ain't a Mercedes). I know a mechanic who overhauled a diesel charade g-11 parts + labor charges + transportation = 19,800 Rupees only! (and he call himself the 'Charade Master')
Nicely explained like a master
