    Default CNG in Honda City

I recently installed a landi renzo cng kit in my honda city 2002 (old shape). When i switch to cng the engine malfunction light turns on, i showed it to the cng ppl and they said it was because of the advancer installed in it. Is this possible? Does anyone also have the same thing in their cars?

the problems seems more with Emulator then with Advancer because emulators performs a very important function of shutting down the injectors and sending false signals that injectors are working fine, maybe injectors are shut down but false signals are not sent to ECU thats why light is coming.

Advancer only helps in timing advance which cannot cause the engine light to come on even in case of a disfunction. Also in case of advancer malfunction, light should stay on petrol as well.

    hello!
yeah spectra is right thats why i am asking about emulator......by the way spectra....in efi cars how CNG was injected in engine..as there is no carb and you said that injectors are shut...so you mean that fuel supply from back is shutup or injectors itself are shutted....i think u mean emulator cuts petrol supply and opens up CNG supply...
    plz clear that out..
