    umm....i have city auto...mean the 2002 version

just coming back from murre an hour ago...we were 4 ppl

complete trip on cng....with no problem whatsoever....although my tuning is badly out due to an idiotic mechanic....

as for pir sohawa..1 every two days...and sometimes 2 per day... pretty nice, braking is quite better than VARIO (03+ models excluding 09) ...

its like shift to D2...and the car runs in 2nd gear...even on a steep climb its gona go on 2nd gear so you wont be able to get any power....so before steep climbs you should be at D2...as the steep climb aproaches and you are about to push the pedal a little harder the shift it to D3 or D4,its gona go back to 1st gear and then keep the gear going by your experince on pedal....

hope you get what i mean......cox there is not much gear hunting in city, so at times u'l haveta meanouver it yourself to suit your power...

and yeah..there is a certain way to get the power out of AUTO cars

its not like whenever you floor the pedal the car should be performing at max...it depends upon ur experiece of driving them....you should have a very good feel of the pedal in order to get the most out of these cars...

as for traction loss....in city its when you stop or nearly stop at a very steep climb (that might be due to another car infront of you) then you push the pedal quite hard, the wheels will definitly spin....so if u stopped at some steep climb...pull the handbrake, car should be in D(4,3,2), and then before releasing the handbrake accelerate minutely and then release the handrake while accelerating slowly (again the feel of pedal is the trick)

    i) Don't be so hyper.

ii) For your kind information Honda City Vario has No D1 D2. It has only two modes to go forwrod: "D" (Drive) and "S" (Sports). kindly check the below link for complete detail:

    http://asia.vtec.net/article/2003City/index.html

    D
is the 'drive' mode which is for normal daily driving use.

    S
is the 'sports' mode which is for the time when we demand maximum performance from the City without concern for even fuel economy. This then is the time when WOT will push engine revs to its max (6000rpm). Throttle response will become very 'urgent' with the car eager to surge forward upon jabbing at the throttle. When test-driving the City in S-mode, pay special attention to how the engine/gearbox behaves to rapid jabs at the throttle. Because max acceleration at any speed is available by revving the engine at maximum rpms (i.e. running the engine at maximum power and maintaining the highest possible gear ratio in CVT-7), in S-mode, the engine will try to go to 6000rpm as much as possible.
