The best way is to pass the speed breaker very slowly....I hav Vitz nd I had the same problem...
But then I changed my tyre frm 13" to 14" nd Its working for me

I've the same problem with my Vitz, really effective solution.
it works if you are the only one in the car, if i have someone in back seat, no matter how slow or diagonal i go it still hits, thinking of changing the tire size coz i do not want to go for those spacers....

There are two ways, very effective. Choose either of them as you desire

1- keep two wood phatties in your box. (you know the rest)
2- Go silently in night, destroy the speed braker.

(suspension is down the side you sit.)

    Wish you best of luck.

this problem exsist in most of the cars as these cars are not designed for the CAR BREAKERS of pakistan. you feel like it hits only from driver side, this is normal same in my city 2010. just be extra carefull on CAR BREAKERS try to cross them diagonally and extremely slow, thats what i do even when my car is fully loaded.

But if you want you can go for the packing also it cost about 1000 -1500 Rs but your car will get extra bumpy , better if dont do it and better compromise with your speed

Default Honda city 2009 and onwards

Atlas honda ko yaha k hisaab sy design mein change kerna chahye bcz breakers are so big.
The better solution is replace your tyre with bigger size though it will effect on speedo meter but still the best solution if you want to avoid these type of damages to your city.

Noo, it still scratched a lot of speed breakers, changed to 195/65/15 with Cdrive instead of advan Db. And yes there is a difference of 5 km at around 90km/hr. Speedo shows less. After one yr of use, no problems in suspension etc.

When ever honda hit hard on speed breaker must check engine bottom holding rod or may be it called foundation,i am sorry i dont know exact name, any way once i hit my car very hard on speed breaker, just after that i felt some sort of jerk when ever i took out foot from clutch, when i opened bonnet, whole engine was moving badly, mechanic told me that ur car's engine bottom holding rod or foundation broken, which was not available easily, i got it after two days, and stayed in hotel as i was travelling somewhere, i m telling to check it after hit as may be its partially broken and break fully when u r in middle of some not very safe area

    True even for imported Hondas

There engine mounts r not meant to sustain these car breakers
