The Honda mechanic must have messed up with some settings, ask them to do it again, I mean tuning, not messing it up, lol!!

    hello!
what about checking the timing......knocking is usually concerned with timing...so you kinda get it checked by some experties....try using High octane and see what difference it makes

thanx for your replys. ill ask the mechanic to do the tunning once again as he did it on 10000 and then it started knocking.I always stick to one petrol pump. when i use hi octane a lil bit with the normal petrol the knocking is drastically reduced.... but i think so that this not the solution because when i bought this it was absolutely fine with the normal petrol.

If the timing is too advanced the engine will make a knocking sound. Try retarding the timing a bit to see if it goes away.

hi imad, i saw a similar VARIO with the same problem. it had come to the honda workshop to get fixed, but it had around 3500KM's clocked. get your sparkplugs checked, since usually they are removed, cleaned and reinserted. as far as timing is concerned, he wouldnt have messed with that, so dont mess with that. best of luck...
