Default Increase Performance on City 2007?

Salaams to all, I have owned a Honda City 2007 silver M/T for the past year or so. Its very good excellent drive - just wish it could go a bot faster.
Any ideas on tuning and performance to give it a few more BHP? I was thinking about engine tuning but dont know where to start. I've seen other cars with exhaust changed but i think that just a gimmick to make your car sound like a ferrari.

    Your guidance needed!

well if u really want to make ur car faster , do these things
upgrade the spark plugs n wires , install custom made down piping n dholiki (direct flow) , use mobil-1 synthetic oil , ground stabilizer (if needed) , hope u dont have cng if so n u dnt want to put it off then get it tuned properly AFTER upgrading all the above things.
something fishy about number of total posts !!!!

thanks yaar, the spark plugs and wires are original Honda, considering theres eight spark plugs, which ones do you recommend to replace them with.
downpiping? is that the manifold or exhaust ?

PS. I use Caltex oil - it thought that was the best on the market

Walaikomasalam .. with my little knowledge ..I dnt think u'll be able to increase the BHp .. City 2006+ are actually not dragging cars they are completely made as a family car .. Its has a low bhp but picks a good fast speed gradually and steadily .. I wod advice u not to make changes in it.. its also nt recomended by the company to modify antthing.. Just do a computerised tunning n check the engine oil level n condition thats all...

plugs, wires, oil, stabilizer and all that other cr@p don't make more than 0.5 hp on such cars,.. except that the power is only accessable higher up in the rev range.

please avoid fondling with a ca which is designed to haul you and your shopping from the market to the house. these are "shopping trolleys" and not performance cars.

if you are serious about power then you should either go for an engine swap or leave the car alone.

get an air intake.and a straight free flow piping with high flow headers, they would be enough for u to handle, they give a boosted acceleration .
