Default Installed CNG in my CIty 2010 PICS

    Hey Guys,

I installed CNG kit over the weekend and so far so good. I am enjoying the ride and you guys will be surprised that it wont do any knocking on CNG which it normally does on Petrol. So far my car is in testing phase meaning that I am calculating the mileage and stuff. But again the pick and response time is pretty good.

For all those who says you will ruin your engine life or City 2010 dont deserve CNG and bla bla bla. My answer will be "I just can not afford current petrol prices these days, as I have to run 100km/day."

There you go with the pictures.

    Hi vik,
Then another question rise, how much you spend for spacer+fitting and after spacer, suspension become hard and on normal road there is DIG DIG sound. Is it feasible to install faber cylinder on extra cost for faber (around 6000-8000) where-as weight reduce only 10% and no spacer required.
Also inform current on M2 consumption?
Dr sahab, no dig dig sound or anything related to suspension in my CITY. Everything is so stable. Those spacer will cost you roughly Rs 600 to 1000. ITs upto to you if you want to go with faber or the regular one. I believe you will still require spacers if you use Faber. If your CITY is being used as a family car so oftenly then go for spacers else if you drive it alone mostly then drive it without spacers. Up to you now

Mine is a family car so cant take risk without spacers.

Hmm frankly speaking I didn't get a chance to calculate the mileage on Motorway as we were friends and were chilling out so never got a chance to put an eye on mileage thingy. Though I was driving it on 120, 140 sometimes 160km on CNG.

Dr sahab, I think you need to study Mathematics of primary level. Can't believe a mature person will ask such childish question

    60Kg-55Kg = 5 Kg.

You are right at primary level calculation, if you used common sense I am asking for difference of weight between 60 & 55 cylinders.

    @ wrangler79

my dear bro that 60 or 55 is not the weight of the cylinder. It's actually 55L or 60L define as the amount of water which an empty cylinder can keep.. I.e a 55L cylinder can carry 55 liters of water when it's empty..
A 50L cylinder can weight around 48 kg. So Dr. Kazim 55L and 60L can have a difference of 6 to 7 kg..

    @umfa85,
You got my point, but remember the net weight of 50L Faber cylinder is 54 kg (as written on it) and Faber cylinders are only 10% lighter then other good brands so others weight will be 59.4kg (make it 60kg). so whats about 55L and 60L net weight.

Brother, I didn't write anywhere that 60 or 55 is the weight of the cylinder. Dr sahab himself told us that these are weights.

Bro nothing to mind here. but only point here is, instead of using sarcastic language you can just point out that cylinder capacity is measured in Liters not Kgs.

    Hope problem solved

Dude, what is the current mileage and when did you change the engine oil last time? Do post pictures of the setup.
