    congrates bro for ure new ride...so u bought new city which one idsi manual or v tec..
    my advice is plz dont install cng in ure new car untill u drove ciity atleast 4 to 5 thousand km....
    and if u have bou8 idsi so idsi is a very fuel efficient car so dont worry abt fuel but still enjoy the drive of ure brand new car and forget the cng for almost 4 months...

    In some cases of CNG installation there had been reports of ECU burning due to faulty electrical wiring. I have also heard of air intake manifold blowing away due to back firing and some other similar incidents. I am not sure that how true these stories are. But still on the safe side it is better to get it installed from Honda service station as you will retain your car's warranty.

    Another question is that is it possible to install CNG in VTEC 1.5 ltr model. Could you please confirm it and put it on this forum or mail me to mics420@yahoo.com. Actually I want to buy this car in Pakistan but presently I am not in Pakistan. I will appreciate your help if you could confirm it from Honda service station. Thanks.

    to my knowledge, honda will NOT install CNG on vehicles. correct me if im wrong folks. i agree with salman 100%. With such a fuel efficient car like the city IDSI M/T, why go into the hassles of CNG !, makes no sense.

    @Nashit
    Actually the engine bay of Honda City 1.5 VTES is very crammed. It seems that there is no space for installing regulator and plumbing under the hood. Thats why I am asking.

    Want to buy a car with automatic transmission and CNG. Idea is to get VTEC 1.5 Ltr City and install CNG. Corrolla automatic is 1.8 ltr. May be a bit too heavy on petrol.

    @mics420: hmmm...altis does ~9km/L and city 1.5L does ~12km/L, but i suppose u'd be running car on cng most of the times.
    btw corolla X, civic pros are other good options. give a thought to diesel veh also, u'll find a very good diesel veh. in price tag of petrol veh+cng inst.
