Default Muhammad bin Yusrat's Honda City 09.

    Hi Guys,

This is my third car and so far the most lovely one. I really like it. Its nice. Its very economic (most economic car that I know of). And I generally tend to like the car I own regardless of how good or bad it is (besides the first one).

If you're single and below 25 or even 27 years of age, this is the best car for you. Really suits with young people. I was going to buy Corolla but then decided to buy City. It does not look 'too big' like Corolla, and not too small like hatchback cars. So its very nice. I really like it. Alhamdulillah.

Great car, and it looks like you take good care of it.

A question: Why do you have that old torn plastic on the seats? It is obviously not protecting the seats anymore, but is the fact that it is "original" to the car reason enough to put up with it?

Actually, I do not have money to buy seat covers. Neither do I seem to like any. Nor do I get time to go and choose from the market. So I thought at least they will protect the seats from dirt till I decide to put some seat covers on them. Otherwise I really hate them. They look ugly and make stupid noise on high speed if I open the rear windows.

I have them removed from the front seats though, these pictures are older.

Its not the choice broh, if it was choice I would buy Honda Civic probably. Its how much money I have to spend on a car.

And while I am single, I don't have to look after a family or any responsibility, everything I earn I spend it on a car (either buy a better car or get some mods done in it). Its a way to save money as well.

Resale value. No one really goes for "good" colors anymore.

Congratulations and MashAllah- your car looks great.

Motorway walaz told me to remove them

HIDs were not illegal till now, but they told me to remove them within one week or after that I will get a challan of 500 - 1000 rupees.

I don't put blue lights because I want to tell everyone that I am ready for a race. In fact I hate racing. The white/blue lights are just soothing to me. I don't like the yellow ones. Plus HIDs are more effective when you want to signal someone to let you pass. Other lights don't seem to make a statement there.

Thank you for the explanation. I hope that you will be able to get really nice seat covers soon that go along with the rest of the car which is really nice.

Bilal Those HID's are extremely blue, to the point that they offer little to no visibilty.

Please do your eyes a favor and remove them.

Blue lights, as you suggested, don't offer a good visibility. That is very right. The reason I had put them (They are 12000K and they are not officially blue, they are diamond white) The reason why I had put them was I wanted to see how the contrast looks with the parking lights of City (as they are in the place where other cars generally have indicators -- the extreme left and right). I wanted to go for white, but this looks just too good. And visibility is bad, I know, but its still guzara.

And regarding the removal. As soon as I get my first challan, I'll probably do this.

Thank you for your interest in reading my explanation. I am looking for black seat covers inshaAllah. I really like the Black Interior of the car and was wondering if I could find something matching, it would be nice. Will see..

12000K is far from diamond white, its simply blue.

4300K is the ideal temperature for visibility, and is the color temperature of daylight.

Higher the K value, lower the visibility.

In other words, blue is just a shashka.

Actually its 10,000K, not 12. 10 is blue, yes. Pure white color is 5000K. I think 8000 is diamond white.

Shashka he hai HID, otherwise sometimes it looks like the 3000K wali lights are better than HIDs.

The color temperature of daylight is between 4300 and 6000. Its not pin pointed at 4300. Come to think of it, I guess that's why the motorway wala guys told me to remove the light, as lights higher than 6000K are sometimes illegal.

    Congrats,
    One question,
is it having speakers in rear doors or not?
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.
