salam guys i want to know is this is a top speed of city ?i have never driven honda city so i dont know top speed this car ?
i hitted 158 on high octain on friends city 02
The meter showing the speed in this pic of city steermatic 1500 CC with seven gears gearbox...it does get to 200Km/hr
@saint 20 he is asking not telling
this is @vazim's steermatic & yes steermatic can do it easily its an amazing car.
atleast on the 1500 vtec city.....one of my relative has hit 205 km/h
neo961 had previous honda city model, he did 260km/hr on motorway.
Some senior PW members know how he did that )
I ll only be happy if somebody does 300 + kms / hour on that City, this car has a lot of potential, the road grip is no less than any Lambo gal i mean any Lambo car out there and it has thick 165 and sometimes 185 tyres our roads are also very suitable, so anybody who has a death wish 4 thumbs up from my side bro
If you ask me whats my top speed on this City, i ll say a 110 kms/hour
Sirs
I agree totally with c123pk.
By the way my W202 M111 never passed 190Km/hr, high octane.
2005 Exi PROSMATEC 175Km/hr.
CA4 Accord 1.6L 170km/hr.
2010 Civic 1.8L 190 km/hr.
so, if you think, City can better that, its up to you.
Regards
Pretty stable hands at 210kmph...the photos at 170kmph posted at PW are never as clear and precise.
Engine of 1.5 Vtec Steermatic showing its power at 7 S mode but braking and handling of this car is pathetic so power is nothing without control.
Its one fast car....but its not worth it if it lacks good breaking...
^yep thats the problem, if anything came infront of the ride at this speed... it wud never be able to stop on time...
yar i have driven same car for 3 mounts and had many tries t get full meter but city not goes beyound 178km/h.
^^yeah man it is fast but not safe!!!!! poor handling and breaking.........even the steering begins to vibrate after 150!!!
I drove my friend's I-DSI at 190 km/h. But, i personally think that 190km/h is too much for such a small engine. Even 160 km/h is too much. Yup, it is not stable above 150 km/h and engine becomes noisy, but same is the case with old and new XLI and GLI. So, these cars should not be taken above 150 km/h as they are really unstable at high speeds.
that car litteraly flies......It feels like u have no wheels beneath u.....zero grip.....
my city 2001 touched 170 on CNG on motorway without AC
when i used have city max i could give was 140 lot thorrotle was left...........
A civic 2010 and top speed 190km, common man u need to learn to paddle to metal. A civic goes easily to 200k without any issue, i did it on my dads 1.6
