    Default Honda City 09-10 Tip

    Hi all,

I Just wanted to share somethings I learned about maintaining Honda City 2009/2010 model. I just hope this would Help those using or thinking to buy this car.

I bought my Honda city 2009 in July 2009 and sold it 2 weeks ago (upgraded to Civic Reborn 2010 prosematic). I kept my car with utmost care n respect. To get the best out of my city in terms of fuel economy and pick, these were the things I did:

    a. I always filled the tank with 50% high octane and 50% regular petrol which dramatically enhanced the performance and fuel economy of the car.
    b. I never filled the tank with 500 or 1000 fuel. Always full tank.
    c. Remember to fill your tank from a reliable fuel station with high grade petrol.
    d. I use to change my air filter every 8000kms. (manual says 20k - but every one knows about paki road conditions and pollution)
    d. Get your Honda City serviced from Honda 3s dealers and use geniune parts especially Honda engine oil.
    e. Plug Service at 10k and Brake service at 20k.
    f. Keep your interior n exterior always clean. Clean car gives a clean drive.

Respect your vehicle and your vehicle will respect you. Trust me.

By the time I sold my City, it had 26k on odo and smells like brand new. The condition of the car was still brand new and the new owner is happy .

I hope the above tips helps. cheers to all city owners n happy riding.....

If you talk of Isb, then I have four main petrol pumps I fill from, depending on my current location as at when I need refuelling:

Diplomatic Enclace PSO (my office area)
Caltex Pump at F-6 Super Market.
    Jinnah Super F-7 Shell Pump.
    F10 Markaz Shell Petrol Pump.

High Octane has a higher Octane reading and hence even if mixed with Petrol, you cannot achieve a better mileage.
