    Default sideways sway of honda city 2000

    ok htere is the catch of the story, when i am driving straight all is fine but as just i let go the accelerator pedal to change the gear car all of a sudden sway to its right and when acceleration starts it sways to its left and then ok, while maintaing speed steering response is fine too, its only when accelerating or deacceleration.
    I've gone thru alignment at wheels and wheels blue area, its good, consulted only couple of mechanics only and they said that its due to steering box and it needs replacement.
    I just wanna have opinion of members and some input from fellows who have gone thru the same that what should be the strategy and what was their experience before i go into the repair shop.

    ws,
    i got 2000 and how come honda guys says its normal, my car sway like 6 inches i beleive and it was scary, at initially all say its steering but i was not sure as steering didnt give me any problem and didnt show any signs of ply, so here is the story.

    i got chimtas bushes replaced only one week ago and after that this problem start to grow, i took my machine to hathi chowk RWP, where chimtas were removed once again and mechanic found that one of the rubber is not seated well into the socket on the underside, he got socket welded from inside from effected part and got it grinded with pin grinder to get it back in shape and reinstalled everything back and now ride is smooth once again, no unwanted movement of any sort.

    all this costed me 4 hours and Rs. 500/=

    @mehmood

    Glad to hear that u have resolved the issue.I have a somewhat similar issue but it only happens while braking.
    Qaiser Pal,I have not failed.But found 1 of 10,000 ways which doesn't work.....Toyota driver "I couldn't repair my brakes,so i made my horn louder"..When i was born i was so surprised that i didn't talked to one and half year..since light travel faster then sound,people appear bright until you hear them speak..If u can't convince them,confuse them
