    Default City Vario petrol tuning

Hey all. my Vario 05 ws making some sounds when put in 'Drive' or 'Reverse'. Got it checked. Some said its gear box is doomed. but finally it came out to be its throttle body which was almost chocked by carbon. After tuning the sounds vanished but i was advised to run it on petrol and not on CNG. now i m on petrol. Do i need to get some tuning done for petrol or its settings for petrol n CNG are the same? How to get best milage (i have read the driving habits tips )

Sir its the worst thing to run a vario on CNG, remove it immediately or else you can make a mess of your CVT.

    thats true
very few success stories of cng on vario most have destroyed the transmission

if ur plugs/air filter is fine ur good for petrol to (many idsi users dont change plugs, scared of 8 plugs or god knows what, its totally wrong)
if there is any air blockage for cng, remove it, will give better mileage on petrol
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

Sir as suggested by Mr. hash4u, remove any intake blockage, inspect all spark plugs and replace to platinum/Iridium ones if you can afford, check the coolant/radiator and all fuel lines, wheel allignment, check engine oil and gaskit etc.

Vario should give you at least 11km/l in City.

thanx all - it gave me 12km/1 on petrol in city. i think it was cool. but i cant give up CNG as many others. so i hav changed my driving habits like at night i switch to petrol and in morning when its cold, i drive it for few kms on petrol b4 switching back to CNG. no sudden race, switch off when red light is more than a min etc. hope to survive longer

I am using vario CNG for about an year and got checked from many, except one who is a mechanical engineer goldmedalist and professor at UET Taxila , he believes that the gear of vario does not go like this easy way, it probably take 8-10 years driven car. Mine is 2004 and done 98000 km, i used full ac last summer on CNG and its OK. till now. May be i Could prolong this fault by avoiding quick race on CNG. Switch on to Petrol frequently.
The milage cost on petrol/CNG of city is 1/3
