Default Honda City 07's shocking mileage figures

    Guys,

Just wanted to share some outstanding mileage figures of Honda City 07 that i experienced on my trip to Lahore from Islamabad

My car is 44k driven and totally on petrol. No CNG installed. I filled the tank from Rwp and made sure that the tank got filled to almost the max limit (petrol visible through inlet). I used Motorway throughout with speed varying from 115-125km/hr with RPMs at around 3600-3900.

On my way back, i got the tank filled again and again to the limit(visible through inlet). To my extreme surprise, the figures were outstanding:

    Total Kms Travelled = 710
Petrol poured to fill the tank = 37.8

    Average per litre = 18.8 =almost 19km/litre

I was simply shocked to see the figures. What do u guys say about this performance ??

I have IDSi 08 and it is giving me 16-17km/ltr. I am more than satisfied with this kind to fuel average and also with performance as I am not a drifter.

With the permission of Hamdani Bhai (owner of this thread) I want to ask you people that is new city ivtech also as fuel efficient as idsi? I have read in this thread somewhere that retaining same fuel efficiency as idsi posses, ivtech also has far better performance and is the fastest 1300cc vehicle in Pakistan to date.

Please share experience as i want to upgrade my idsi 08 thanks.
