honda genuine oil is 5w-20. it is thin. go for 5w-30 havoline fully synthetic or shell helix ultra 5w-40.

Default what about "PSO CNG Oil SAE 20W-50" for Honda Civic VTi Prosmatic.

In previous post I see "honda has switched back to caltex from total"

The cost of Caltex : Rs=1650
The cost of Total : Rs=5000

Please tell me what Caltex Oil is using Honda now a days?
And also suggest me what about "PSO CNG Oil SAE 20W-50" for Honda Civic VTi Prosmatic.

Dont use pso else use petromin ultra7 which is far superior oil than pso or any other inferior brand.

I don't get why people are so strongly against 5w-20 oil. The L13z is a modern engine with very tight tolerances. It will readily accept 5w-20 oil.
