195/60/ R15 would be the ideal size based on tire calculator and my personal experience aswell. The 185/65/15 is also a good size but if you decide to go for 195 width then get it in 60 profile as 65 would be too much deviation from stock size as it is a civic/corolla profile.

Just recently, I was in the market for new tires for my city. I wanted to get Yokohama DB but it wasn't available anywhere. Only A-Ddrive was available from Yokohama which i tried for a few kms and i found it to be very hard (even harder than stock Eurostar tires) hence I went for the Michelin Energy Saver in 195/60/15 profile which is slightly expensive one but it is a very soft tire and really suites the stiff suspension of the new city and it is very light tire so doesnt alter fuel economy much as compared to stock one.

I got it for 7800 a piece with July 2010 date code. Made in Germany.

Dbs are available in isb and pesh both. and yes the best value for money is in DBs not in michelin energy savers.

Size recommended is 195/60/15 but people have also put 195/65/15 so upto u. Stock height is maintained with 60 profile, 65 wud be higher but more comfortable.

That means I got LUCKY. I got 195/60-15 Yokohama dB fresh in 7k a piece, about a month or two ago, will confirm the date of purchase tomorrow. Has anyone tried Pak Punjab Traders in Neela Gumbad, that is from where I got the tyres.

Default correct size for honda city 2010/11

i need ur advice. recommended size is 175/65 R15, i cud not find any imported tire in this size. nearest available sizes are 185/65 R15(only dunlop lm702 i could find), 185/60 R15(bridgestone AR10) and 195/65 R15(mostly recommended by sellers). For recommended size 175/65 R15 , using aspect ration 65 and width 175, height of the tire is 113.75 mm.
Using 185/65 R15 tyre, height is 120 mm,
using 195/65 R15 tyre, height is 126mm, using 185/60 R15 tyre height is 111 mm (nearest to the honda recommended tire height i.e. 113.75 mm).
Now as per my research , changing the dia of the tire leads to wrong reading of speed on speedp meter. ABS uses the speed of the car for calculation. now if tire dia is increased (if i uses 195/65 R15 as it is sold for city 2010/11), speedometer will read less speed than actual which will ultimaterly affect the EMC calculation for ABS. In my point of view 185/60 R15 tyre is nearest to the recommend 175/65 R15. Please advise what should i do, I am realy confused. Also I have done a thorough survey of johar town faisal town and DHA market and I cud find that date on tyre is tampered(my opinion, no offense please). Please advise me correct tyre size for city 2011 <!-- / message -->

^^185/60 is surely nearest in terms of meter readings however it will lower your ride slightly and may look ugly awell. So if you really want to stay at 185 max width then go for 65 profile instead. otherwise 195/60-15 is the best upgrade size from stock profile of 175/65-15.

Excellent suggestion by AvidDuo regarding the tire size. Stick to this size even if u decide to change the rims to alloys in 15".
Both Yokohama DNA dB and Michelin Energy Saver are available in LHR @ Pak Punjab and J. Rashid in Neela Gumbad.
dB would cost u 7K/tire and Energy will cost u 7.3K/tire.

That's the place from where i get my cars' tires change. They usually have the best rates and the most fresh tires along with J. Rashid.

Sir 205/55 R15 Yoko S drive if need spirited performance with good ride. 7.5K / piece.

Bridgestone Turanza AR10 195/65R14 if you need a soft ride with high mileage and long tire life with decent grip and braking. 5.5K/ piece.
