Default Creaking noise in my 2009 city's clutch

I just returned from my trip to Lahore on my 2009 City. The mileage was great and the drive excellent. And with that trip I have finally managed to surpass 10,000 KMs lol! As soon as I exited the Islamabad motorway, I started hearing creaking/squeaking noise in my clutch. Is this a cause for concern or should I just leave it as it is? I would appreciate your help in this regard. Thanks.

I haven't washed my car for a month. Could it be due to dryness or is it a more serious problem than I think it is (bearings or clutch plate)?

Yes, its due to the dryness. Can be removed by lubing the clutch paddle rubber boots. But as your car is new and would be in warrenty, so get it fixed from an authorized dealer.

not a big problem....go to ny workshop or honda 3s dealership n tell them about the noise....most probably they will use a spray to grease ur clutch wire (which might have accumulated rust) and the noise will just go

Thank you all for your valuable advice and suggestions. I'll get the clutch wire greased from Honda and also have the tyres rotated as it has accumulated 10,000 kms.

Sir there is no cable in city's clutch.its hydrolic clutch operated by oil. if the sound isn't coming from pedal, its coming from the point where the oil actually operates the clutch.its there in my car too, n its there for long time.i ve got 100s of washes but it didnt go away.talked to honda 3s guys n they said they can lubricate it but the oil will reach the clutch plate n will cause clutch slipping.i dont know if thats true or not cuz i dont believe those 3s honda guys at all but this may make some sense... so, just live with it i wud say.

@ahmadbila Thanks for the info. Yes I had a look at the clutch oil container in the bonnet right next to the brake fluid one. I believe the clutch uses the same oil as the brakes'. Sure, if this isn't any serious a problem, I can live with it. I only hear the creaking noise when shifting from 1st to 2nd and then 2nd to 3rd gear. After that, the noise disappears.

yes thats the oil for it n yes, its the same oil as that of brake.it certainly isnt a problem at all, may be a small design flaw, though.

Here's the video I made of the clutch. My apologies for the low quality. You can hear the following "tuk" "tuk" sounds when I release the clutch.

Went to Honda Classic today. They diagnosed the problem instantly, applied a huge lob of grease along with a whiff of WD-40 and the noise went away and they didn't charge me anything for it. I'm a happy chappy now. :-D

@misteek I'm pretty much surprised myself. The guy told me since the car was under warranty they wouldn't charge me anything. Besides, it was nothing. The noise was due to dryness and nothing else. Had I known or diagnosed this problem myself, I could have greased it but didn't want to risk anything.
