    @usman,,,,,,,,,,,,it is evident from ur talk that TRUTH has pinched u,,,,,,,,,array bhai who says that present ministers are educated,,,,,,out of the cabinet of 60 only 10 or so are well educated rest all are mere BAs,,,,,

    and their corollas are not their own,,,,,,,,it is given to them by the govt ,,,,,,,bcoz the poor govt cannot bear the maintenance cost

    otherwise class is nowhere to be seen in C0 ROLLA means a combination of ROLLAS (for those who dont understand punjabi,,,,,rolla means problems and only problems)

    City is better in performance while XLI is better in shape.

    Lancer could be another option as is civic.

    @asd123
    sir it needs getting used to.. my driving style is quiet hard with a lot of accelaration and heavy breaking... and i am fine with corolla brakes..
    if one uses engine braking than i think the brakes are fine.
    we can say that corolla brakes do not talk to the driver. u dont get a good feel for them.. and most drivers in emergency just slam on the brakes and the tyres lock up..
    i was only repling hamdani_08's comments that due to good accelaration and bad braking one ends up in a tree.. in normal city driving a driver like me certainly needs good accelaration when the light gets green but i think that one cant attain that high speed in city driving at which brakes of corolla are a problem...

    and for the shape i think that city's shape is something out of the box and many like it and many dont.. and corolla is the best seller.. further more yaar we should'nt compare corolla with city..

    and we should let the numbers do some talking too.. and corolla is the best seller around the world... and in pak too..
    its all about power to weight ratio...

    @ghuncha

    well,,in emergency situation ,,any driver will slam on the brakes,,especially in cities,,sudden application of brakes is very common ....so,,if brakes dont work while slamming,,the i think brakes are not good......on motor way there is rarely a sudden application of brakes,,,,but 90% of our driving is on city roads,,,,,,soooooo,,,corolla brakes dont talk to driver,,,i think its better that they should keep their mouth shut if they dont work on sudden appplication

    now if one has to get used to the brakes of a car ,,,this means that there is something wrong with the brakes,,,,,

    secondly,,,,,,,,,i really cant understand those ppl who say that corolla has a good shape,,,,,,,man its the ugliest car available in pakistan,,,,,,,,,,,

    my blood pressure shoots to 200 when i see this car with pathetic ppl sitting in it,,,,,,with silver lines around the lights and pathans spitting out from there corollas

    Janab baat yeh hai kay first of all there is no match b/w corolla n city, some people are saying city in under power, but what about corolla with a huge body with 1.3 l engine. second honda aur corolla ki class hi alag hai, honda is always best and reflects sobre and decent image, and at the same time, road grip, brakes, interior, technology in all these aspects city rlzzz without any doubt.power pack is an additional edge.

    @hamdani_08

    Well when i saw your posts, the first thing that came up my mind after reading

    "u cannot compare HONDA with toyota"
    "man TOYOTA is ********"
    "poor interior of xli"
    "poor quality chasis metal sheet used"
    "it looks like a fat ugly *****"
    "and no special engine"
    “never saw a decent person sitting in a corolla”

    was that your just and other ignorant idiot who has some unknown adrenaline to disgrace a car maker than can ******* BUY Honda 3 times over.

    Well let me open up your eyes KID!

    YES, we CAN compare the two companies and I fear that its HONDA that’s NOT comparable to Toyota. Toyota has 3 TIMES the lineup compared to Honda and IS the world’s largest auto maker & doesn’t matter if a**holes like YOU **** around.

    Toyota ISN’T ********, infact its heavenly ****. Check you Honda, drive it @ 120 on village roads and you’ll stop on the next patch of road, checking the suspension setup and stopping incoming traffic for help. I don’t see a reason to imply ANYTHING logical from your blasphemous text on above posts.

    Interior, well let me tell you something. Corolla’s interior is much wider and spacious than Hondas’. Better driving position and ergonomic to the touch. If its YOUR abnormal touch then its not my problem.

    METAL SHEET! Right, I think you are a labor who works in a factory to see for yourself which car maker is using which sheet. It is THIS reason that made Toyota popular the world over. Check previous Toyotas’ body sheets and compare with those of Honda. Honda is fragile just like your hypocrisies.

    ENGINE, well take ANY new City 1.3 and drag race it with a Xli.
    Xli WILL beat it to the top speed possible. Boy-o-boy, what can you do if it’s a 1.3 DOHC 16V vs a 1.3 SOHC 8V?
    i-DSi is nothing apart from a gimmick. Though it actually enhances economy BUT its not a pioneer’s work! Direct & sequential burning of the fuel in the cylinder can yield closer lean-burn mode, but at the detriment of Torque.
    All those who’ve driven City claim that the car is HIGHLY underpowered. What is that supposed to mean?

    IF you NEVER drove a corolla, that doesn’t mean all others are not decent. I think everyone here IS except you, whose *** is burning so bad. SHAPE of city is NOTHING except an “istari”! City was flopped the world over in eyes of Honda’s hardcore enthusiasts when it was launched, that is why Honda had to give away MMCs. The main thing that’s been pinching your *** is stoping the car. WHY don’t you install a parachute behind your car? Or maybe you too fat for the brakes.

    What’s your education level? I highly doubt you’re even matric pass after seeing your illogical and highly extraneous comments. I think its better that you keep your hands in your pocket rather than to put them on a keyboard for a futile attempt to disgrace others.

    Some of the people here are novice who don’t know much about cars. After reading illogical and highly biased comments like yours, they deviate towards a car which YOU prefer, they don’t and for the rest of their life they do nothing but sit down and ******** you. Find your long-lost grey matter & start using it.

    Since you don't believe in XLi's engine, face this:

    so anyone who says city is better is decent.. and who says corolla is better is not decent.. get a life bro..
    corolla vs city: corolla is better in terms of acceleration.. resale.. reliablity.. power..comfort.. and now u r comparing corolla (which includes altis as well) better stick to xli vs city.. xli is far better in almost every aspect.. only thing is powered windows n locks.. well xli has certainly more value thats the reason even its without powered windows n locks.. even then it sells far more then city..

    hmmm ive had the pleasure of owning both xli and city...and i think im gonna have to go for the xli as well...much better drive and just about everything...biggest fault for me in the city was that it indeed is highly underpowered...

    @tech_wiz
    dude check the engine temperature. Your engine was about to blow up and btw i'm sure this picture was either taken downhill or with the car standing still ( no offense ).

    I totally agree with you on the city's shape...it sucks big time. The corolla isnt a beauty either but it looks much decent compared to the city. The brakes of corolla are very good up to the point where you lock the wheels (which can happen a lot) so they give the driver no confidence at all. Also the steering of corolla gives no information as to when the front wheels start to loose grip.
    I havent driven a city yet but public opinion seems that it has no problems with its handling or brakes. The interior of both cars is good but city's interior seems to be of better quality. If it wasnt the shape i'd definately choose a city.

    PS: I do own a corolla
