FIRST pic: Note that the display is showing an average for the distance driven since last zeroed meter on the bottom marked in red. This can be improved or kept stagnant or deteriorated with the type of driving style. The improvement or deterioration is slow on this display because it is an average of a calculation based on no of litres remaining in the tank as well as driving style adopted. Its a sort of prediction that if u keep driving the way you are driving then by the end of this tank of fuel u will have done this much km / l. but if u change the way ur driving then this average also changes but slowly and gradually to show u new calculations.

On the top u see a left right scroll meter encircled and marked in green which keeps hopping up and down every few seconds, this is a very fast constantly updated display of the current average ur gettin from ur car. In the picture u can see the car is being driven at abt 2100 rpms in fifth gear at around 72kph. The current performance of the car is around 24 to 25km / l according to the top bar. However it was being driven at faster speeds from the last zero till now so the bottom average display i showing just 15 km / l at the moment but this will slowly keep rising to something like 15.2 then 15.5 then 16 n so on if the car is driven with current conditions.

2nd pic : This is a picture taken of a static started up car at idle rpm....u can now see that the ACTIVE display is lying at zero and the bottom display is showing performance from last zero till now. If car keeps static at idle started up then the bottom display will start deteriorating to somethin lower then current display 16.8 will become 16.5 then 16 n so on coz the car is eating fuel without puttin on any kms.
Great info. Its for the first time I have been able to know what that horizontal bar means. I guess its not even explained in the owners manual. I have an auto version and I dont get anything more then 15-16 km/l on highway and without AC and 9-10 km /l in the city.

3. Impressive.........

Guys I am negotiating for City 10, 13000kms, June/July delivery, karachi registration, no extras all origional.......what is the last offer PW's recommend I shall give.......

Honda gives a good mileage but you cannot truly trust the reading on digital meters. When I apply brakes, my car gives 99.9 km/litre reading.

If you really want to check the fuel efficiency, put in 1 litre of fuel in totally empty tank and then drive till you run out of gas.
99.99 is pretty good

8. My friend tested his Manual City with just one litre of petrol and drove it morderately on broadway in 5th gear. Car exactly gave 21km/l and after that we had to pour another 4 litres from pepsi bottles to reach fuel station

impressive.........

Auto version consumes more fuel i guess and tires also make some bit of difference. Im using 195/60/15 yokohama Db with all tires inflated at 32 PSI. Its a VERY quiet tire with very low rolling resistance. Its world rating is 3rd. First is michelin energy saver S, then 2nd is bridgestone eucopia n third is yoko Db in terms of overall fuel saving.

If its total original without even one scratch or dent, 12.80 max coz its khi number, in isb such cars are going around 13.5 to 13.75 depending on upgrades n condition.

Why dont u start gettin some pushto lessons secretly...that u will always know whenever someone is conspiring against u in pushto...that is...if its a consipracy....which it is taken to be most of the times, whereas its not most of the times i'd be happy to teach u a thing or two. what u say?

28. @iftikhar raheel

Ur motivating me to go for a full tank drive on the same lines to make a record...waysay i think ive already made a pakwheels record isnt it? Im just wondering how much better the bottom figure can be improved if driven till lets say Peshawar to Islamabad?

very right and i appreciate your offer but why it is so hard to do not post comments in a language which is not understandable by majority?
this is not the first time this thing happening.
i do not have any proplem with the language and never will be but just for a change why it is so impossible to not to post a comment in urdu or english?

30. @2C

Best way to answer ur question is, its just one of those things!

Just like why do u always end up paying more at places which have stuff cheaper then other places,

or why was Rs 5 reduced on pepsi bottle

so similarly 2 pathans HAVE to talk in pushto ginee bya khwand na kaee.

31. @all

Theoratically speaking and after some research on the net, as iftikhar raheel pointed out earlier that it maybe raised to 50km/l well,.....no sir....the bottom figure can be best improved to the best figure achievable on top horizontal bar and not beyond it....so if lets say ur driving ur best endurance technique n u achieve 27km/l on the top bar so the bottom will improve slowly till 27km/l but not beyond it.

32. I am being offered an army officer's VERY clean city 2010 (feb), manual, 19k driven, polished metal colour, two digit isb no, CNG for 1.3 million. What do you guys say?
