    Are you kidding? 26.4/L is 97.68 MPG, Hybrids don't even give that much.

    ^^.Maybe.. But i agree this car is very fuel efficient. However ppl like me will never be able to drive like he did.
    I rev my cars at high rpms. but one day my city also did 18km/l with speed maintained at 100 and rpm at 2.5-3k. AC turned off. when saw couple of mehrans and altos overtaking.. I gave up. .

    U know what actually im NOT a city fanboy to be honest, though i own this car n i really like it but i still feel that the seats shud have been more comfortable, thts one big factor which makes me NOT a city fan boy. Seats on modern toyota models are much much farrrrrrrrrr more comfortable, its a biggy for me coz i have some backache issues.

    An extract from my favorite movie, the pursuit of happyness:
    Don't let anybody tell you: you can't do something. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it.
    @stringray: Its totally achievable. I did get this at 70 Km/h on motorway. But brother when you're recording this video, you should also show the 'trip' so that no body can doubt that you have driven the car for a very short distance.

    I got 26.2 from Islamabad to Peshawar which included the drive after exiting from Motorway to home (within city). Because it was late night there wasn't any traffic though. But the road wasn't as good as the motorway.

    I almost ALWAYS get 21-23 average from Peshawar to Islamabad at 90Km/h.

    Brother I got 26.2 km/l Actually. stringray has actually done better. However my average was of about 200 Kilometers (from Islamabad to Peshawar). Which could be one factor why it was down at 26.2 kpl.

    The best way i thnk to check milage is on full tank. I mean fully fill the tank up to the neck/petrol cap. Drive it for, like 26km and go again to fill the tank and see how much u filled this time.

    @Bilal

    Actually the average shud increase (more km to the litre) over a longer stretch if proper hypermiling is done coz the active bar is almost always lying around 30km/l when i keep speeds around 55 to 60 with very low revs. U see the more stretch of road that gets covered with the current average bar lying around 30 or slightly above, the overall average will also match that same figure. Till now ive only tried this for like a 50ish km stretch. If i ever had a world of time available to do it from pesh to isb or vice versa id try the same 55 to 60 kph approach with all factors applied like driving behind a truck to avoid the direct airflow etc, IMO i will be able to cross 30km/l but lets see. My car is approaching 12k kilometers now so i think the throttle cleaning needs to be done now, may even be followed with a cat cleaning.

    PS : I did toggle the odometer modes at the end to show the overall km covered, it was precisely 52.6 km for this trip.
