    Default Honda city 2008- Switches off, RPM down

    I got city 2008 and facing following problem. can any one guide me.

    Patrol.
    While I turn off engine and restart the car, surprising all thing including bluetooth mirror, DVD playet time reset and car total milage meter appear whereas previouly I normally retain trip B meter .

    ON CNG:
    1- At idle stage while engine on the fuel guage and RPM guage drops down to zero with strearing, High and cold lights just for fraction of second.

    2- while driving of at idle stage, when race paddle is left the RPM drops and Car engine turns off.

    Before going to any machanic i like to have opinion from your side that;

    - Battery terminal is not properly fitted
    - My DVD / LCD connections are incorrect
    - not the air filter issue , since i replaced new.
    - etc.

    i think its a wiring issue get it checked from a good mechanic,,, my friend's city 06 130k driven had this problem of shutting off engine and giving engine check,,, while driving on both cng and petrol,,,, then u hav to turn off the switch and turn it on again after a sec and it would start,,really annoying as it happened every 3-4 km's, we thought the coils need to be replaced but then my mechanic did told its a ecu issue so he took off the battery joined the +ve and -ve terminals of car for a few sec and attached the battery again in order to reset the ecu,,, the car is running gr8 ever since and the milage was also improved,,,

    that seems logical.. I will try in evening by detaching terminals... hopefully that will not harm anything else.

    Best way is to get it IT tested at 3S dealers.It seems like some sensor is malfunctioning.Common problem wtth these cars on cng.Usualy ignition coils,fuel pump die as ppl dont keep the tanks filled up.

    CNG wirring is the culprit. Some butcher might have fitted cng in your car.

    Visit renowed computerised cng tunning station which has been experienced by any friend / relative.
