    Default Brand new city paint ruined:(

    Hello all fellow pakwheel members,

    I came across an unfortunate incident, I recently bought a brand new city in polished metal metallic color. Yesterday my car got some stains while my neighbor's gate was being painted (using a spray). though my car was parked at a distance of about 20 feet. but today when i was washing my car, I noticed that their are tiny particles of paint all over the surface of car's body including windscreen & mirrors, though after washing i waxed my car but in vein. Now the situation is, when i touch the suface of paint, it feels like there is sand/dust on the body. The tiny particles of paint are unnoticiable untill one try to observe it closely on the windscreen, I request paint/polish expects to help me making the body smoother without damaging the paint as the car is brand new.

    @stingray !!

    Brother, thanks for the information. Any idea from where i can get those Meguiar's products in Islamabad? Please do mention how much it cost me per unit?

    Also, you have mentioned the medicines but didn't told me about the exact dose, What is the right method to apply it as there you have mentioned 3 items in total. Sorry i am not much into car polishing/detailing. I will really appreciate if you reply with details.

    @racer44 .. what is the best available compound in the market in my case?. Brother your suggestion is highly appreciated but most of the local paint shops use inferior quality products to save money, & i am afraid it might damage the layer of paint of my new car.

    @ CHALSEA 1
    Do not use compound on your own you might damage the paint. A good car painter will do the job easily including your wind screen etc. Charges should be around 1000. Compound will be used only to remove the spray speckles (keeping a light hand) and your original paint will stay as it is. Just ask the painter give a demo on a small area and you'll get the idea.

    Simply dont use the compound on ur brand new car. Take my words seriously before u regret.

    Apply quality products as mentioned by @stingray
    Or u may use any good detailing products of Mothers.

    at the moment your problem is not a big one but can become a big problem if you go for the local compound polish.
    just buy the products mentioned by stingray and apply them yourself or from a trusted painter/polisher and your car will come back to its original state.
