Default Honda City '05 auto tranny issue

    hi pakwheels
i recently had honda guys switch cvt fluid on my 2005 city. it worked fine for a week or two and now i'm having random jerks during driving and when switching b/w D and R it makes some of noise. its fine in idle. the cars done just under 40,000 km. i've been told id have to get the valve body(?) cleaned or if that doesnt work get a new trannsmission. what do you guys think? anyone been thru a similar issue?? would be grateful for advice.

    thanks.

i've had the spark plugs and air filter replaced. seems to be working fine so far in fact performance has improved and no jerks yet (fingers crossed).

@Xulfiqar there's a slight rattling sound when i put in R but thats been there for a while, this jerking was new. Do you know what that is?

yep - the drive plate internal springs have collapsed, it acts as a rotational shock absorber for your transmission and input drive also. Get a new drive plate from shershah - and have a mechanic install it, It requires complete removal of the transmission, and about 10 minutes to swap out the plate.
