Thumbs up White Honda City i-VTEC Delivered (speedster_101)

Finally my Honda City i-Vtec 2011, Manual transmission is delivered. I booked the car from Honda Centre Rawalpindi on 2nd June 2011. Got it delivered on 26th July 2011. However I did get a call from Honda dealership to get the delivery on 28th June 2011, but as the prices were expected to reduce on 1st July, I turned down that offer. According to the new price list, 25000 Rs has been reduced. As I have taken the delivery on 26th July, they will give me 25000 Rs cheque in a day or two.
MashAllah, this model of Honda City looks really good in white colour.

Default Anti Theft Lock (Rescue 15)

I heard from some people that Rescue 15 is providing locks that are really strong and good. So I called Rescue 15 Islamabad and inquired them about the lock. He said that currently we are out of stock but I can give you the telephone number of the company which provide us locks.
I called that company. Its name is "Watch and Guard". Its lacated in F-6/1, main Nazim ud Din road. So I went there. The price of the lock with normal size padlock is 1600 Rs, and the price with larger padlock is 1900 Rs. I bought the one costing 1900 Rs. It seems really strong. As it is a mechanical lock so it can only be broken by applying force (not by tricks as in electronic systems). But operating it is really difficult. You have to open the door and sit on road to lock it.

Trackers are also an old story mate, car lifters are also getting technical. they disable them in 5 minutes. I wanted some strong mechanical lock. But its really difficult to operate it after every now and then. I think it is good if you have to park your car for longer periods.

Suzuki Khyber 2000 model and Toyota Altis 2007.
Suzuki Khyber is for inner city drives now, specially when you have to visit crowded places like Raja Bazar Rawalpindi etc. Its still performing very well mashAllah.

Honda City does not have temperature gauge. It has temperature lights. When the engine is cold, blue light is switched on, and when the engine is hot, red light shows up.
