    Default City vs Belta

    Hi,

I am interested in comparing Honda City 1.3 M/T (new shape) with Toyota Belta 1.0 A/T.

Primary parameters shall be the fuel efficiency, drive, re-sale and overall experience.

    Please advise.

Also, what shall be a good price for the two?

    Thanks.

Compare the 'top-of-the-line' models of both.

The Honda City A/T and the Toyota Belta G selection, then we'll see what the people pick out of the two.

    Honday City takes the lead.
However if we compare 1.3L Belta then results can be different.
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.

city has a betr aftermarket, avlblty of parts, reliability, durability nd economy on top of thee list even 1.3 belta is not that much cool as city, city is the most powerful 1.3L car in pakistan.
city is new while belta is used etc...when this thing cmz belta goes down in my opinion even if its jdm but not new...some ppl might disagree with me buh its the way i think it is.

    1.3Belta>City>Belta 1.0.
Belta is more comfortable, features and also quality of interior and parts with better exterior and interior. And if you consider new car ,then city anytime over tempered accidented jdm.

    Exterior front:City
    Exterior rear:Belta
    Interior:Belta
    Performance:City
    Comfort:Belta
    Features:Belta
    Safety:Belta (two airbags )
    Price:Belta

But let me tell you one thing that belta is seriously underpowered (more than XLI/GLI) if you consider.Due to its weight,CVTI transmission even the 1.3 L will not be as fast as a City or i think a XLI.So if you are into performance get a City

City i-vtec is better in terms of
    - Fuel efficiency
    - More power
    - Good looks
    - Better road grip if we install good tyres.
    - Excellent resale value.

Belta is a jdm but CVT automatic. Which means not good for CNG purpose.

Yes belta is more good than pakistani city in terms of quality and comfort but it doesnt matches with city being offered in other countries.

    Guys, thanks for the responses.
Lets stick to the conditions in Pakistan for this, as we are all here.
Also, the whole point of posting this thread in this fuel related forum was to atleast get some idea about fuel efficiency which directly relates to operating cost.
can anyone please toss some figures about km/liter.

Belta is attractive from rear nd city from front.Due to much underpoweredness i will chose city over belta. It cant even climb the hill where Corolla/City climbed very easily
