Default Honda city 2005 Throttle Body Problem

i am currently facing problem with my city 2005 Vario, the RPM drops suddenly and the engine shuts off. i contacted honda pitstop and they suggested to get the cars throttle body service and tuning. Today when the had to deliver the car, they called me and said that car was stilling having the same problem and further informed me that IC Valve in the throttle body needs to be replaced.

can anyone suggest what might be the problem?

Has anyone else experienced this sort of problem?

iddling issues usually pertain to the parts already mentioned.
i think replacing the icv should solve the problem. dont know why they said they are going to change the throtle body

now that u ve left the car with them and let them do whatever they wanted, u really will have to replace the said parts even if they re doing fine! never do the mistake of leaving ur car with mechanic again...

whenever you clean the idling valve - make sure its lubricated with oil and make double sure its tightened evenly (use new scews) if its crooked it may bind itself (thats why the repair manual does not advise to remove the mounting screws.
