    Default vibration in city idsi?

well i am facing a problem in my city idsi...i feel vibration when accelerating slowly or before coming to a halt...it seems as the car is trembling alongwith slight vibration in steering wheel...but if i accelerate hard or drive at relatively higher engine rpm...all seems well....What should be the problem?...i wanna get an idea from experts over here b4 going to the mechanic so that i dont become a victim of mechanic's hit and trial habit....

My car vibrated for months on acceleration until they got really heavy and then tak tak sound started coming. Turned out i had worn out rear engine mount and inner cvs on my drive shaft were totally worn out.

but if the mountings are worn out, there should be some vibration in the engine as well...but it is damn steady even on low rpm's.......

    most probably mounts
if vibration is while releasing clutch it might be pressure plate
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

no...its not the clutch plate.....i have changed the clutch plate, pressure plate and clutch bearing a month ago and this problem started after that....well the vibration is increasing slowly with the passage of time but it is not accompanied by any sort of sound....
i guess that the mounts might have been damaged by the mechanic when he was taking off the gear box as he took it off with great difficulty by jolting the whole engine and pulling it out...

classic case of worn mounts transferring vibration, only happens when the engine tilts with torque.
