That's what all other owners have been complaining about. Going for a wider tyre will help a little but now a lot. I suggest go for 195/60/15.

as per me wider tires make ride hard.

these is no solution to this, there can be little improvement by changing tires because euro star tires are not good.

right!!! i will change tyres, this was totally unexpected from honda, as i m big fan of honda and so i have switched from toyota xli.but i think they have no sense for pak roads and drive pleasure is only if ride is comfortable on all kind of roads.

    Smile I like it!

People, the ride is not hard! Its sports tuned! Cars which are soft and bouncy are only liked in the USA probably. In the rest of the word a firm ride is preferred as it makes the car stable at high speeds and on turns.

Honda while designing the car was probably thinking of it being driven in civilized world where roads are smooth and mostly without speed breakers or huge potholes. They did not design it keeping in mind the roads (or non-roads) in Pakistan! Please don't blame the City or Honda but do blame our city and provincial governments for the pathetic condition of our roads. And if you want a soft and cushy ride, sell the original shocks and put in old used shocks from some other used car.

Please learn to enjoy technology and force our town and city planners to ensure smooth roads for us to drive on and enjoy this technology!

but as u know roads r not going to get better in yrs so there must b otherway
other than selling this car to get little smoother ride.as person is not always in mood of sporty drive, as u know it feels really bad driving on rough road while rollas r real fast and i hav to go on 10km/hr still jumps hit on head, and then wat will we do of this technology if it annoys us evn aftr spending 14lacs

    Wink Other options

My friend you must realize that its not Honda's fault! I would suggest that you buy a nice small 4x4 if you want to travel on rough roads. I think a few options are available in the market like Terios Kid, Pajero Mini. They have softer rides and can generally go on rough roads.

The stock Eurostar tyres are pathetic. They are very hard.
I have installed Michelin Energy 195/65/R15 tyres in my Honda City 2011 and I have felt a huge difference. My friend sitting with me also felt a lot of difference.
The tyres were expensive i.e 9800 Rs a piece but they are very soft and fuel economical and hence they worth it.
They are made in Italy and manufactured in 08 week of 2011. I bought them in August 2011 from original Michelin dealer.
