Default Honda City 06 Brake Pads Replaced

After going through a couple of posts and since I had to get the front brake pads changed, I went and bought Nissin break Pads (original) and replaced them in my ride. They were half the price of the Honda Genuine Spares.

My car did 70,000 with the originals and they were missing some bite now, so I decided it was time to replace them.

Will share my experience with them. Hopefully I havent been ripped off.

Nisins are good but they last half the miles the originals last. so the price of originals are justified.
I recently changed pads on my city, i got the original ones for 6K whereas the nisins were available at 3K.

Congratulation your car showed exceptional mileage before you have changed the brake pads. According to the survey, I conducted in past most of the people have changed the Brake Pads on Honda Citi 2006 to 2008 between 20k to 30k Kilometers. So, results gave me a peace of mind that I am not alone who is changing it very early. I have recently tried CBK brake pads and very satisfied with the performance. Cost 800 Rs.
