Default Honda City IDSI 2005 poor mileage

Honda City 2005 idsi (Mileage 110K kms) is giving petrol mileage of 11 kmpl in city without ac, while this particular car easily gives around 15 in city. What could be the problem ?

    Things checked so far:
    -- tappet adjusted
    -- stock tyre size
    -- throttle clean from Honda
-- the engine is in good condition with regular oil/filter changes

Car is mostly driven on CNG and giving an average of upto 140Kms in 55kg cylinder.

Remove the blockage placed for CNG in Air intake but it might not perform well on CNG then.

The best way is to tune up the car on petrol first, ask Honda people to do this. Once done then go to CNG workshop for CNG tunning.

Remember if you have blockage in Airtake, it will affect petrol mileage.

Thanks! Now what I am planning to do is to take the car to Handa and ask to get their computer connected and check everything is OK ? will remove blockage etc,

CNG adjustment is not a big deal afterwards

Are you trying to run on CNG or petrol. Note that if your car is tuned to CNG, running on petrol will be less economical for similar car run on petrol only.

In fact will run both on CNG and petrol, yes it will be less economical on petrol but 11kmpl w/o AC for iDSI is very low.
