Default Sudden drop in RPM when brakes applied

    Guys,
I have City steermatic and the problem that I face is that the RPM drops to 100 when Full brakes are applied and then I feel a jerk and then slight knocking and then the RPM gets back normal i.e.800. This happens whenver I apply full brakes. I took my car to various mechanics and also Honda dealership, they all said that it throttle body needed cleaning. I got it cleaned, tuned the engine, installed new original spark plugs but the problem persists. Now the Honda mechanic is saying that sensor attached to the throttle body might be malfunctioning. He said that a new one comes only with attached throttle body and it is for Rs.25,000/-. I have ignored his advice as its not a sure shot answer. Can any one help me diagnose the problem? I have even tried fuel additives for internal cleaning of the engine but no help.

Dost take a deep breath and now you are the one who will determine if you are going to spend 25k + on these mechanics or spend some time figuring out the problem.

take it Step by step. Google following for your car

Step 1. Check TPS for its correct values

Step 2. Check for Vacuum Leaks

    Step 3. Clean IACV

By the way You can get TPS for 1000 or less even you can have throttle body with sensors for 3500 but first do above

run a diag on it.. and see what the system says about the problem...
people who use Highbeams.. once day would suffer too bigtime. People who drive slow on fast lanes, remember one day a vehicle carryin ur son, dad might get late to hospital coz people like u. underaged driving will land u in bigtime trouble one day or the other.. And the Blue indication light on ur speedometer denotes "High Beams"
