    Default Honda City Brakes Problem

    Salam PWers!

Sometime back (approx. 5000KM) I changed front disk pads of my City i-DSI. I used OEM pads. After about 3000KM of changing the pads, I noticed that the brake performance has significantly decreased and the brake pedal vibrates while hard braking. I know the common diagnosis suggests it to be faulty brake rotors. But what other possible reasons can there be? Could it be improper bleeding of the brake system while changing the pads? faulty caliper pistons and pins?
Any suggestions and help will be deeply appreciated.

    Regards,
    Faizan

I had the same problem. One mechanic suggested that buy oem pads whereas I had nissin ones and they were perfect. Postponed the changing and went to karachi on the way the vibration increased and in karachi showed it to a mechanic he said that rotors need to be polished else every thing fine. although I could not feel any irregularities on the surface of rotors with naked eye but the mechanic sent them for tooling he also opened the rear drums and also there insides were tolled now the brakes are atleast 10 times better than before
