well basic information required is mileage difference. if any one know about it.

second what will be the disposal of present kit and cylinder of CNG.

it is going to happened in future within short period wheather some one like it or not. i have googled i could not get any specific information about mileage difference. few year back my son fitted lpg kit in CD 70 and its mileage was much more than petrol.

Oh GOD! Its too expensive. The OP is actually looking for it for what?there is no difference in price between CNG and LPG per kg..why not petrol then? The mileage isn't different at all.i don't get the theory of installing LPG in your car.

it is slightly incorrect. it is Rs. 51.xx per litre LPG at dispensing station will be sold as liquid fuel priced per litre. (1.75 litres = 1 kg - in terms of flammable gas)

with a 55 litre LPG tank the visit to dispensing station will come after 400+ km run in a efi City

well yesterday again lpg price is raised about 6 rs per kg . now those people were abusing Govt specially president that they r promoting LPG for time being and reducing price , what they have reaction now.

as i googled and researched on net i can only see some indian web sites and their comments about LPG only slight different in average than petrol. LPG have few kilometer more average. and only 3% power loss. where as CNG have 15% power loss but more mileage than petrol and LPG.

well had a visit to the hascom acording to them they have installed lpg in new accord rolla n some jimny to they claim its mileage to me 50% more than cng and same in performance too.
i hav been planing to move towards lpg from cng but m still confused wht makes the mileage better than cng any technical theory behind it...
2ndly i have researched lpg is the next futue fuel in Pakistan cng willbe gone for sure but wht if the prices of lpg increases alot it will be useless to go for lpg rather than to sty on petrol than................
need some more valuable suggestions on lpg

    Question

have you even stopped to think how it would impact your CVT transmission?

Ive seen City Varios get problems when people have converted them to CNG, now LPG wouldn't be transmission friendly as well.

Petrol & Diesel is & will always be the LAST resort. what i have heard in a casual lunch meet of some puppet masters at Sindh Club today is way too ugly. we all have read & heard the story of pied piper in school.

The CNG then LPG is the pied piper story. Putting whole nation in a vicious circle in terms of fuel choices. We all know how a person becomes a druggie, 1st it is party item at friends place, when parties become regular stuff there comes an entry charges, then pay as you use then finally YOU NEED IT TO SURVIVE YOU PAY FOR IT ..
