Default Help : Philips X-treme vision or Blue Vision

aoa. guys i have recently been delivered with my new City. planning to change its stock H4s with something better. i have shortlisted my choices to the two bulbs below... please guide me which one to go for.

Philips X-treme Vision H4 (Twin Pack) | PowerBulbs

Philips Blue Vision Ultra H4 (Twin Pack) | PowerBulbs

the first option gives 100 percent more lite but is still yellow at the end of the day
the second option gives 30 percent more light but with styling and blue tinge

i love them both to be honest just suggest me with valid reasons which one to go for . thanks

Thank you for your reply, yes I know I was referring to the HID's, the pair is new and hardly used for 2-3 hours. so i am not sure what to do with the HID's now. I will surely install H$ bulbs to have better results

excellent suggestion hehehe....the only problem with blue vision which i perceive is that in inclement weather (and on high beams) the light disperses much more than a standard halogen. thats why i opted for x-treme vision this time as on full beam i havent had a good experience of Osram Nightbreaker on my previous car i.e. Toyota Platz

I also decided to source it from UK and have someone coming soon to carry it for me.
I checked on amazon. Are these bulbs different than the ones you bought for 30 pounds?
    Philips 12342-XVS2 H4 X-Treme Power 100% Kit (2 Bulbs): Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike
Cuz they're of 19 pounds and their description seems to be same as the ones u've ordered and its a twin pack as well

    Actually, even cheaper are available
PHILIPS X-TREME EXTREME VISION H4 NEW HEADLIGHT BULBS | eBay
Same thing. 17.3 GBP with free shipping. The seller has sold 9086 products with 99.9% +ve ratings so I think this is also a real deal.

Also on amazon, the H7 got sold more than H4 but I have no idea about it.

Also there is Osram nightbreaker for 13 pounds.

Can you help me decide? My objectives are

    1-To have more light
2-But not to temporarily blind the person coming from opposite direction
3-Not to consume more power than the stock ones.

i rechecked again. there is a problem with the amazon link u sent me earlier. there is a diference betwee Philips X treme VISION and extreme POWER....x treme power is the old series which delivered 80 percent more light on the road, whereas x treme vision is the upgradation to that bulb with 100 percent more light. now the link you sent to me (of amazon) says xtreme power in title but is showing the packing of x-treme vision in its photo. now i dont know which one u paid for and what you got

and yes i can definitely help u in deciding

    1. for more light, there is no better h4 bulb in market than x-treme vision. case closed

    2. no it does not blind the person like HIDs. the problem in our country is that ppl fit HIDden in halogen housing, hence the light disperses big time and blinds the oncoming traffic. these bulbs are perfectly road legal and they do not blind the oncoming traffic. otherwise, its an advice to make it a habit not to use high beam until and unless you are going on a dark dark road with not much traffic which you can make uneasy.

    3. No they do not consume more power at all. they are standard 60/55 watts bulbs unlike the more light bulbs you find in market which consume like 90 watts. they dont only ruin the car wiring but also are prone to frequent malfunction. moreover, they generate more heat and damage the plastic lens of the light (main headlight cover). these philips bulbs are standard wattage but use a combination of halogen and xenon gas which produces more light on the road
