Default ac tripping frequently in city idsi

well i ve recently got the ac of my citi idsi serviced....after that the ac is tripping quite frequently i.e after every 30 sec just for 3,4 seconds on fan speed 2 and 3....but on 4 its not tripping....i will be going to the technician tomorrow again... i just want to know the cause of this tripping so that i dont get cheated by the tech....they seemed to be professionals but is it so that the quantity of refrigerant is not correct ?or any other issue..

i guess he has set the thermostat to trip on a relatively higher temp, due to which it trips more frequently, at lower fan speeds, go to the same guy and ask him to set it to a little lower temp so that the tripping is reduced. if the cooling is fine you dont need to worry about it as its better for the compressor to trip periodically. puts lesser load on the engine, then continuous running.

dear the thermostat in new cars cant be adjusted. imo u hav excessive gas/refrigerant filled in ur system. goto some good shop which has Refrigerant Recycler machine. take out all gas & put back exactly the same amount which is written on the sticker inside ur bonnet on the ac condensor.
