    Question Strange problem with city 2007 ac

    Ac is having a strange kind of problem when the blower is set to 1 or 2 it works fine but when it is on 3 or 4 it stops working after a minute or so help please.

    check gas pressure
    May be you AC wala has put extra gas in it..

    check ac gas pressure and also check "if" the problem gets worst when the compressor (plate) heats up.. if dats the case it may be due to bad clutch.....

    I hope its cold air and not cold air at setting 3,4. blower keeps running right?

    check gas pressure
    May be you AC wala has put extra gas in it..
    Its condenser got leaked 2 years back and was repaired after that it was working fine the problem started almost a month ago

    check "if" the problem gets worst when the compressor (plate) heats up.. if dats the case it may be due to bad clutch.....

    let me guess, your blower at higher speeds trips and with it AC also goes down as it should be as if one turn off the blower, and after couple of minutes blower automatically turns on and with it AC also kicks in, if you are having same scenario then i am also looking for answer for this phenomenon with my city 2000.

    my electrician doubts a faulty blower speed selector switch, though no work have been done on my machine in this regard.

    your system is overcharged or the compressor faces too much heat load causing it to shut off. Check the running pressures - you will find your fault.

    change the blower resistor and obviously what Xulfiqar suggested.
