yaar i would recommend you to change the car instead of tyres as it would be a less hectic activity
for that you can PM me the demand as i am interested in your car

Jokes apart, I think you should opt for 15'' rims instead og 14 if you re willing to replace as 14's are a bit out of market i guess...
And for tyres, i personally think that yokohama are the best. you can also go for bridgestone or dunlop.
my preferred size for city would be 185/65/15 or if easily available then 195/60/15

thanx for the suggestion haider, mera bhi yehi khayal hai k i should go for yokohama, but onething i want to share with you in this respect, i went to a shop in faisal town tyre market, he gave me the rate as follows
    yokohama philipines = 7,000 PKR
    yokohama japanese = 7,800 PKR
and then i went to another shop and then he gave me the rates as follows
    yokohama philipines = 6,500 PKR
    yokohama japanese = 6,800 PKR
so i got confused k yaar itna difference kahan se a gaya, i mean i cud understand if there would be a difference of a 100 or 150 but straight away for japanese there was a different of 1,000. can you tell me why there is a such a difference? i mean i was shocked to see the difference.

yaar differene of 1000 for japanese n phillipines is justified..

As for the difference in rates of japanese tyre at 2 different outlets, I think the only possible reason would be difference in date of manufacturing. 7800 wala tyre fresh hoga n 6800 wala would be of 2009/2010 i guess.

anyhow, if u ve made ur mind for yokohama then forget about phillipines.
Japanese lo, and yes do confirm the rates for japanese from other outlets too.

wese i bought yokohama decibels from 'TYRE TRACK' faisal town.
i am still not sure but someone said they are registered traders for yokohama so mene zyada search bhi nahi ki thi at that time.

I am now plannin to sell those as i am selling my car as well and they re still new.
But yes, not looking to sell them to you as they are 205/65/15 and i do not recommend that to you.

He's no friend / known to me but my experience with 'Tyre Track' is good.
atleast tyres mai koi issue nahi hai..

Dear be careful whenever changing rims, I ll suggest u never opt Chinese/malysian/korean crap rims available in local market. Always go for branded stuff. otherwise u ll ruin suspension of ur car and comfort of ride as well.
Yoko made in japan has various articles ranging from basic model A300 to Yoko Advan db.
If u choose 14" go for yoko db Made in Japan size 185/65R15 (Rs 7100 per tyre, purchased 20 days back)
and if going for 15 size must be 185/60R15.
Best place to buy tyres in lahore is Nila Gumbad (u ll find lowest price there) U may compare the price by asking ur dealer about price of yoko db.
One more thing do not go for wider tyre than 185 mm if u want economy as well.

i suggest u Yoko Advan Db V551. (ankhien band kar k)
or if u have no budget prb then go for continental (original)
    .
Always use light Alloys , i will suggest u some branded stuff .
    ..
note the manf date on tires.
    .
    go for 185/65/R15

All of you guys, really appreciate your response. Just wanted to confirm one more thing that how can i check that if the tyre is original/new and not retempered ( jin ki guddi khud banai hoti hai) ? Is there anyway to check? Prompt response is required as i am going to change them by tomorrow. Plus tell me a bit more about the alloys as i have seen in the market that there are most of the alloys made by china. Branded alloys kahan se aur kitne tak milte hain? Aur kis kis brand ke alloys hote hain

dont go for 14 inch rims.. either replace the tyres with the size of existing tyres , or get the rim and tyre specs of steermatic..
and i thing for this model of city , u should go for NITTO tyres if u can find them in market , as the road grip of this model lacks alot ..,
For those ten seconds or less, I'm free
