Question honda city 2000 engine problem plz help guys

    salam all

I have a honda city 2000 model and herez the problem. the engine RPM at idle kept going like up n down n up n down or else it remained very high. I got it checked from a few mechanics n all of them said that the throttle body needs to be serviced. one of them also said there may be a problem with the card (EFI) but he couldnt fix it bcoz the card model number was not showing correct on his computer thingy.

today i got the throttle body serviced and RPM normalized. But then after that the engine is not taking power....no pick on the 1st gear even. car is on petrol. the guy who serviced the carbuhrater says something may be wrong with the fuel injection system and i should get it checked.

guys have any of you with this City had this problem. I need advice on what could be the problem. im mainly concerned that if therez a problem with the card then its a big duzz on my pocket :O....any help is appreciated.

guys in karachi who can advise me on this....i got this done at chota gate near airport. will go to mohsin autos which is not far. if theres no solution then i have the option of honda centre ...

Get ur car tuned and clean its IACV (idle air control valve).
The best car safety device is a rear-view mirror with a cop in it.

ok just leave it, i am sure TPS was removed and it didnt get back to its optimal position which can only be adjusted while connected with a scan tool. now as TPS is not properly calibrated so we shouldnt be worried for what i am suggesting, if you dare just loosen the TPS a bit start the engine let the car come to NOT and you slightly move TPS from side to side and monitor behavior of engine idling, if you feel at some point its good then you can go with with it, but its not recommended, this thing will just confirm my doubts thats it is TPS that wrong, and after wards you can have it tuned from any workshop who have scan tool, meanwhile you can go thru this article

Symptoms of a Bad Throttle Position Sensor
