    Default City 2007 brakes

My City 2007 brakes are acting like corolla Xli 2001-onwards brakes. Some friends tell me its normal for City. Its brakes suck like Corolla brakes, other say there must be problem in my car brakes. who is right? I regularly maintain my Car brakes after 3,000 km. By sucks i mean the car slides when sudden brakes are applied. Tyres are Yokohama Aspec A 300.

i had city idsi 2004.bought zero meter and sold when odo was 195k kms. never had braking issues
tyres were dunlope sp sport. applied brakes at 160 also and as low as 60, brakes were responsive so when they say car has braking issues they might be mistaken.
comming back to your problem...i dont exact nature of ur problem but i will guide u few fixtures genrally they help really well
get front discs tooled a bit or get them rough, check brake pads, comming back get drums tooled a bit, check their pads, if u had a brake oil top-up then get the bleeding done (its brake ka pressure bana k bulbulay nikalne wala method).adjust the brakes, the adjustment is done on rear drums as front brakes are servo controlled.make sure when rear brakes are adjusted they have minimal possible distance b/w pads and the drum, note they should not be engaged (incase if u adjust them too hard they will get engaged and cause brakepads to wear quickly and will generate lots and lots of heat which is not good for adjacent items).
give your tyres rotation (bring rear tyres to the front and take front tyres to back). also get the balancing and alignment done.
above solution is a bit long but is not that costly...if brake pads are not to be replaced then the procedure will cost you about 1k and 2k at max.
best of luck and post your experience back

Buddy if you realy need help for b/pads i might guide you one
More thing. Instead of orginal b/pads there is one brand in market. Which is capable more then geniune how can that happend you must be wondering.because that b/pad is orginal Made in Taiwan but german technology used in BMW series. Or you can say so supplier of BMW series B/pad. Name is (PROACTIVE ) its not commonly avaible. But this company is giving warranty for braking minmum 25000 kilo. Althought company have given 50000 kilometer braking capability. And best thing about this b/pad you can return it honestly on 24999 kilometer. So why not you give a try.and as my friend mention above kindly fallow his advice too.

check front tyre pressure.make sure its not more then 30
then get ur rear brakes serviced and checked.if rear brakes are weak car would tend to lock from front and skid
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

only change the tyre size 13 to 14 with `185/70 n enjoy the brakes
