Default Tyre Update suggestions required for Honda CIty 2005

Dear Brothers, I need a quick advice.
I recently purchased honda city 2005 manual petrol. It is with stock tyre/rim size i.e. 165/80 R13. Tyres are of General XP 2000 which obviously are not of a very good quality. I want to update it with some quality ones. I have two options. Either stick with stock size & get Nexus (Korean Made) tyres or get some good brand in size 185/70 R13. If i go for 185/70 R 13 what drawbacks i can experience & what you recommend ?

My average trave in one month is about 2000 KM with 25 percent on highways.

    Cheers.

XP2000 is the cheapest tyre in price(almost 4000 per piece)
works perfectly till 30-35,000 kms.after that they would get slightly dry and hard. worth the money
got them in my city for the 3rd time. checked euro glide 185/13, but i think they are pretty hard tyres so decided to stay on xp2000
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

brother i bought city 2006 with 13 rim size
it was just like xli brake n road grip
meaning therby no brake n road grip
then i converted to rimsize 14
    185/70 r.14
now im awfully satisfied with superb roadgrip n tight stoppage on brake enjoying like wise abs
so go on federal spectra or mechilin they are awesome
    i installed spectra
cost of mechilin rs 9400 abt spectra 6000 federal 6000
