Default Vibration During Initial Acceleration - Honda City Vario

    Dear All,

Here i am with a new problem, seeking all brothers help.

My Honda City Vario, when accelerating from 0 , (initial speeds upto 10-15kmph), experiences a vibration, that goes away as soon as the engine rev's higher.

E.g on U-turns, or on peeling out of traffic signals, the vibration can be felt (But only if u push the gas pedal suddenly. the sound is not there if gas pedal is pressed gradually).

The car is stable upto speeds of 150-160kmph and with no jerks or vibrations. RPM is totally stable in D,S,L,N,R and P!

I have already gotten suspension work done including shocks+balljoints etc (However the mechanic did tell me that there is one engine mount on the 'gatri' (back end where steering rack is), that is worn out (1 week purani baat hay), so could it be the problem?

Since i hope k koi transmission related problem na ho .

    Experts! Please Help!!

Out of balance drive shaft or problem with inner CV joint can also cause such vibrations.

Do you think it could be because the foundation rubber's hard?! Do you think i should get a foundation (brand new) from the market and install it to check?

Now my stupid mechanic's saying k "iske axles mai masla ho sakta hay", but i've had enough of trial-n-error method, ab mai apni gari ki koi aur cheez us se unnecessarily touch nahi karwaonga, since i believe the axles , if faulty, would've given the tuk-tuk- noise ..
Yes,I am sure it is because of defective foundation,Incase of bad axle, vibration will be felt at higher speed.

I had a problem with my drive shaft and it would only vibrate at certain speeds like in between 20-30 kmph specially while taking turns. The car remained smooth at higher speeds.

I wasted alot of time trying to find out the cause but replaced it only when the inner cv started making dug dug noise on acceleration and deceleration.

I have City 2013 only 550 km are done. Start getting problem with reverse gear. Some times it is difficult to shift in reverse. Either I have to do it forcefully and it give grinding sound. or I have go to first gear move a little in farward direction and then it easily go to reverse. I buy from Gateway Lahore and cant go there immidately. Can any one tell me what is the problem. Good day.

loosen all the engine mounts and also exhaust pipe from the downpipe, let it sit naturally then tighten everything back up and check again. It maybe that something is stressed out like a collapsed engine mount.

@Xulfiqar: bro i was waitin for u to reply...

While doing this the engine to be supported via jack?

By the way, do u think the hard engine mount could be the culprit?

I had felt the same problem in past and after replacing the axles, the vibration went away.

Its usually a practice to change the Clutch Plate + Clutch Release bearing with the pressure plate, however, if your clutch plate and clutch bearing are in sound condition, then there would be no need to change.

Furthermore, if you keep on driving this way, chances are that something small could result in something big, resulting in even more bucks out of your pocket.
