Cool Owner's Club: Honda City Aspire 2013 1.5L

    Hi Guys,

I thought all 1.5L Aspire owner's can come under one roof and share their opinions about this car and the unique engine type which has been introduced for the first time in Pakistan in ivtec. This will also provide a good reference point to standard City and Aspire 1.3L owners and help everyone make an informed decision to the age old conflict between Standard City or Aspire when it comes to new purchase.

    Areas of Focus:
    Engine Performance
    Entertainment System
    Navigation/GPS Performance
Handling/Braking considering new Aspire is 1.5L
    and many more ..........

All opinions and suggestions are welcome.

Aoa guys. I'm new to the PW community. And I personally was surprised to see such an organised forum for car enthusiasts. I have booked a 2016 1.3 Aspire MT and am presently awaiting delivery. I chose Lunar Silver metallic, as it seems very appealing on the new civic. Can anyone be a bro and share the brochure/ manual of aspire 1.3 ? I can't access it on the website.

Chill out guys. We're all going to die anyways.

when the hood is open, take out the stick and place it back to its housing. Start bringinging the hood down and drop it a little below midway. It will get locked with a little loud noise.

Stick is back placed in the housing, but when i dropped it didn't locked down successfully, so i am little worried if i drop it from big gap may be something will be damaged. As corolla 2016 model didnt required that much gap. But personally i feel light in weight as compared to corolla 2016.

you dont need to worry unnless you have to drop it from full height. I also drop the hood from a little less than half the height in my car/city

It's all about the weight, Corolla has a heavier hood so it can lock itself when dropped from a lower height. So nothing to worry about, you won't damaged anything.
