This is just bcz of the stiff suspension of City but this adds to the road grip. While Corolla has got flexible suspension and lacks road grip. All u can do is to get some soft tyres installed. But one important thing is that, Its natural that u found City bit bumpy bcz previously u drove a car having more comfortable suspension. I bet you would have not found City that bumpy if u would have driven Cultus previously.
Drive lyk a Mister Driver or Jus Stay bac at Home.

Corolla's suspension is much better than city in typical Pakistani road conditions (all models). That is why the difference.

Rest of the things city takes the lead.

I would suggest Yokohama A Drive in stock size. Quite soft yet durable

Honda's suspension is harder than other cars giving it better handling, better cornering and a better drive (on smooth roads). The solution for this is to get softer tyres. I would recommend "Yokohama Advan dB v551" or "Michelin Energy Savers". Both have excellent comfort, zero road noise and good fuel economy.

On Bahawalpur to Multan Road, you would feel bumps in Merc even and you won't exceed 60 - 65 Kms/h, if you love your car. That is the most pathetic road I have ever travelled. I have driven Alto, City and Corolla on that road and even SUV (Surf) as well but never found any difference.
