    i been using it for 2 years now. I have a manual 04. It is an absolute pleasure when it comes to fuel efficiency. It is awesome on both CNG and Petrol and very light on pocket.

    The only issue is that with CNG, you have to change the airfilter after every 15 days or so. (Or maybe it is just me)

    it works good on cng! and economical too! but my friend had 2006 manual idsi ,the coils on cng gave up at 50k mileage! unfortunately the coils were to be replaced.put some light on it plz! and some times brakes do get problematic but mostly they are fine for a normal driver!

    My idsi does not works as well on CNG, maybe because coils are not wired properly. If you have time then kindly post the pictures of CNG wirings with its coils.

    @cooldevil
    why did he change coils ?

    my car started giving jerks on cng only. 1 mechanic said its a common problem in this model, rear coils get weak and car misses on cng
    i totally ignored.got plugs cleaned.car ran fine for 2 days.missing again.replaced plugs.problem over

    sorry my mistake,

    sorry sorry,

    One more questions: this means that we only have four injectors in iDsi with 8 plugs and coils.

    hash4u : yes he had the same problem! car started missing to often on cng! on petrol it was fine but soon after 1 month it started giving problems on petrol also! it was like whenever the car wash pushed a little hard the engine used to get shut! and then my friend used to start it on petrol since it refused to start on cng! replaced coils and 1 injector also! the problem vanished. the car was nicely kept. but i have a doubt on plugs! he just got them buffed!

    It's been more than 3 years I am using City IDSi 2008 model on CNG without any probelms...
    Recently a problem occured and that is if I am on higher gear and the speed is very slow like on speed breakers if I am on 2nd gear with A/C on and I push the accelerator hard then it gives a jerk.. on Patrol or without A/C this issue doesn't occur.. and even on CNG filled by some good CNG station doesn't give this problem... its a very minor issue and I avoid pushing accelerator harder when the speed is low and gear is higher like above given example....Honda mechanic have checked coil and plugs and everything is fine so far...

    This is the best car on CNG I've ever driven so far ... so smooth and economical!!! put CNG in it when 25K done on ODO and now it is above 76K... for sure it is manual car and not Vario...

    Best Regards...

    I go to only Honda for maintenance and change air/oil filter after 10K KMs and sometimes I change Air Filter on 15K KMs if they say I don't need to change it as it is in good shape...
