Angry Honda city 2013, Just 5500 miles drive reduce oil.

I HAVE HONDA CITY 2013, JUST 5500 Mile DRIVE YET. LAST TIME I CHANGE THE MOBIL OIL FROM HONDA (1st oil change)
THEN THE 2nd Oil change AFTER about 3500 miles (2nd oil change), Surprisingly oil was reduced by 1 litre.
Oil filter was not changed. Filter was a bit dirty.
what shud i do ? shud i go to honda or wait till 3rd oil change.

the oil which company gives should be changed at 5000 km's max here along with filter
make sure oil is not leaking from anywhere, makes no sense otherwise
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

No dont gont to Honda for it. You will find the normal decrease value in your Honda book. I got the same issue but then Honda city sales cleared this issue that there is tgis normal amount mentioned in book that says over 1000 km this much oil reduction ia normal.

I remember hone asks for first oil change at 5000 with just oil change and no filtet replaced. Then at 10000km oil plus filter is replaced. If you get original Honda made in USA/Japan filter from Honda dealerships you dont really have to change the filter at every 5000 kms.

Relax and enjoy your new vehicle. Stop worrying abt it. Newer engine consumes more oil initially.

Bro your oil filter must be leaking. Other wise new cars dont reduce oil normally even if they have mentioned it in their booklet. I have had my fair share of new vehicles and none of them reduced oil ever even after 50k km.
Drugs cause amnesia, and other things I can't remember

Yes very true. But a leaking oil filter woukd have left oil marks on garage floor to be noticed by someone. Anyways go to Honda and get original filter and oil re-done by them. My city used to reduce oil too but just little bit. Then I got it checked by Honda engineers who visit city sales rvery Tuesday for such warranty issues n they confirmed this as well.

Firstly, you should check if there is any oil mark down there where you park the Car daily and whenever you park the car even for 1~2 hours.
If no, then open its bonnet and carefully check if you can see some poured oil on the Engine, outside the lid, or anywhere near to it. Because sometimes if there is a very minor leakage, then oil doesn’t drop to the surface and just burn with the Engine heat. So check it by yourself first.

Don’t go to the Honda Centre so quickly to complain it and unless you observe & find yourself the possible reason.
FYR, the Honda workers/Technicians are very smart. Its possible that they poured 3L bottle of engine oil & charged you 4L or something like that !! Well, chances are less but it happens.
Also possible that they used some very low grade quality oil which burnt inside by itself !! Again, though the chances are v. less, but possibilities are there !!

Then since today, everyday check the oil gauge by yourself & observe it.

By the way, WHICH ENGINE OIL (& VISCOSITY) YOU USED ?
Or which oil Honda recommends to use for Honda CITY & change after how many KM ?
