    any mechanic can install them, buy new OE pads from the dealership
    then head for some industrial supply shop and get a tube/tub of silicone grease - (honda showrooms also sell it, its branded as shinetsu silicone grease) - this is used on the caliper sliders

    you would also need a little bit of copper antisieze to coat the back of the pads and the pad carrier ears, this will prevent squealing. Do not let your mechanic use regular petroleum grease on the sliders or brake pads unless you want to spend major money after every 2 weeks for the next 2 years.

    I contacted honda gateway today and they said that front diskpad price is 9200... I will visit tomorrow morning now and for rear brakes they say it's not necessary to replace it at 80k however they will check that too.

    @zulifqar bhai, aoa
    I recently bought honda city 2009 model, major issue is that when i apply the brakes the car takes jerks along with a minor strange noise. Can u guide me about the issue?
    2- after a excursion (im summer) with ac, within city, the battery seems drained. It restarts the engine with great effort. Whats the issue pls?
    Note:-
    1-i visited a denter who claimed confidently that the car has been into a accident from the front side, i somehow agree with him.
    2- the meter reading does not corresponds to the interior condition i.e. mter has been tempered.

    Did you check that the noise while braking hard is of ABS or not?
    Almost everyone in Pakistan is doing corruption to the extent they can. Our leaders are doing at the level they can do. So why should we complain?

    Does that sound only comes when you brake hard or suddenly?

    I think probably when i apply brake slightly then the mild jerks are also felt.
    I didnt posed much attention, but what i remember is when i apply the brakes hard the jerk problem intensity is far less but the sound is there

    Applying brake hard does not produce any noise, its on slow speed, like 20 KMPH.
