@mitthu Sir guru bol k sharminda na karein. I am just learning and helping around

As far as OP is concerned, in the given budget I can only suggest front components which would add something to this stage in 12k, which are Infinity Reference 6030CS and are also for sale on PW. The front stage matters more for quality, however if you go on to spend 12k on all four speakers, you would not like the result as compared to what I suggested in the first place.

@Yawar538 would these components require installation of wooden ring etc ??? please see this

won't it may create other problems like door rattling etc ???

The new are hard to find and are priced around 13k if im not wrong. these are 2 speakers with 2 tweeters and 2 crossovers. So they will give you front stage only.

Yes they would require wooden ring whic would improve the acoustic by decreasing the rattling and resonance created by bass of the driver (speaker).
yes that is how they will be installed, however picture has cheap wood baffles, I would recommend getting them made from MDF/lasani

    Congrats for new car.
I would like to add about tyres.
Please consider Continental CCC5 if your budget allows. You will have to pay max 23-25k on top of eurostars. They are simply marvelous in terms of handling, comfort and way more better than Yokohamas. I am using Continentals in our 3 cars including civic and city and they are performing good.
About sound system I'd say get it installed by a professional otherwise you will face door rattling issue.
Last but not least, do give sadka for it.

Thanks buddy .. 25k on top of euro stars seems like a big plunge. you are right about Continentals , they may be the best but I am no racer and neither am I planning to be one in near future. Yokohama's or Michelin Xm2 are good options too. I am looking at max of 7-8k / tyre .. which is the best option in that range so on top of Euro-stars I have to give max of 13-14K .. right ?

Thanks man , for your interest and appreciation. I , unfortunately , sold my 9th gen a while ago. I actually got a great deal of 2.6 million rupees after driving it couple of thousands ( It is the best Civic yet and you are going to have a treat of your life , Insha Allah ) but the main reason for selling was due to some professional and personal commitments ... yes , please stick around .. I'll keep this thread alive for a while

    No problem.
Well it seems like a big dent on pocket but worth the money. It is way more comfy and quieter than Advan DB.

My civic has covered 30k kms on Continentals and still comfort level is as good as new and car has been driven a lot on bumpy and effed up roads of South Punjab, still tire tread is in very very good shape. I believe they will last another 50k easily.

If budget is tight. I'd say go for Yokohama Advan DB in 185/65/r15 size. Not more than that. City already has hard suspension and Advan DB serve the purpose well.

^I agree with this point of yours and If I am not wrong I read on pakwheels in a tyre thread that Continental CC5 is an awesome tyre but not ahead of Yokohama Advan DB in wet braking!!!

So my conclusion is east or west ADVAN DB is the best!!!

We got a Honda City 2014 booked today from Honda Chenab Fsd in"Alabaster Silver"colour at 15.49 lac rupees.

Got 6,000/- discount from the invoice price ( Invoice is 15.55 lacs now )

Dealer promised that car will be promised in a week or so , that is around or before 10th-March, 2014 Insha Allah

This thread will be dedicated to this Silver beauty for future upgrades and mods , IA

    Islamabad Registration

    1. What is the present registration fee for 1.3l Honda City

    2. What is the registration procedure , step-step in case one wants to do it all without the help of reg agents. ( Imp )

Immediate Planned Upgrades ( After Isb Registration )

    1. Will get Silver Matching Mud-guards in Silver at the delivery ( which comes in Aspire version )

    2. Tyres will be Upgraded to 185/65-15. ( Budget is 8000/- per tyre )
    @civic7

    3. Stock 02 speakers will be replaced with some branded 04 door speakers speakers. ( Max Budget for this is 10-12 k ) @mitthu

    4. Key less entry system has to be added to

    5. I'd definitely want to upgrade the fabric seats to something more sophisticated. I'd great if I can find genuine after market leather or very high quality fabric.

    6. Some good Floor Mats

    Faar-Future Plans

    1. Some branded 2-Din DVD player with Back View Cam

    2. Depo Fog Lights

    3. Alloy Rims ( if budget Allows )

    4. Map light ( if it can be installed and from where ) @hasham30

Why I created the thread before the delivery and without pictures ?

    1. I have the plan but I am not well versed with the sources to get these things done. So I want members to hop in and tell me things like

    • Which tyre brand ? Where to get them ?
    • Which speakers ? Which brand ? ( Keeping in view my budget constraints I mentioned Above )
    • Where to get fog lights and get it installed as Bumper cutting is a sensitive Process
    • Approximate prices of the above mentioned list
    • Is genuine after market leather is available in the market ?
    • What about High Quality fabric Seats ?
    • What is the best after market key-less entry System ?

Cities within my reach are Fsd, Rwp and Isb

    2. To keep myself motivated about upgrades and as I am a salaried person so I cannot do all at once. Immediate upgrades will be done in a month or so and far-future upgrades will depend if I can have spare money at hand.

So I announce Honda City, 2014 chapter open for discussion , comments and mainly for suggestions.

PS> You guys have to wait for the delivery and consequently the photo shoot @ahmad_yar , @RollOnBigMaMa, @Durrani_45
and all fellow members please do share your precious comments in areas that interests you

Bro, why not let the dealer handle the registration process headaches, its better to let them handle the fuss.

The overall car cost including registration wud cost u arround 17 Lacs.
