Default General/Euro Star or used japanese tyres

    Salam,
Im looking to get my cars tyres changed as the old ones are old and have uneven wear but my budget is kinda low so the 2 possibilities are either getting General/EuroStar which will be new or get used japanese tyres
So what do you guys suggest ? Are Chinese tyres reliable and better than general ?

    Walikum Salam

Brother buy used tyres from kabar manufacturing date of 2009-2010 without puncture will cost you 10,000 with 7 days checking warranty of bubbles and rotation.

Newer manufacturing of 2011-12 will cost you around 15,000.

Bridgestone Sneaker, Goodyear GT-Hybird, Bridgetone Ecopia EP25 and Yokohama DNA ES300 are good tyres available at shershah.

Eurostar will cost u almost 5K/tyre waste of money only good for first 2 years and 25,000 km after that they are poor in braking and hard rubber.

Extend some budget and you may get Dunlop LM703 and Bridgestone AR20 for 6.5k/tyre new good tyres for price.

Some importers have also imported Bridgestone Turanza T001 flagship european tyres with A rating but they cost almost 8K/tyre.
All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.

I talked to a tyre dealer here in Malir Cantt he gave me the following quotes
All tyres are 185/70R13 with 1 year warranty
    general 4400
    Nexen 4600
    Kumho 4900
    Dunlop 5850
Another one on Khalid bin Waleed road suggested me to get nitto tyres
    what do you say ?

My car came up with these used Japanese tires and at that time the threat was not good too , it's been more than 13 months now and I havnt had a single puncture or grip issue. They are doing great.
My cousin got used Japanese tires in 10k ruppees and they are doing fine too.

New tires = 20000-25000 pkr. mileage= 50000 kms or say 2-2.5 years approx

Used tires 10000 pkr approx mileage 25-30k 1-1.5 years kms

If you got money, then go for newer tires.
If there are budget constraints, used tires can be an option , provided that they are in good condition and haven't got punctured. Used ones can be value for money,

Try Rotalla that is pretty economical or Kumho. The scrapyard tyres you see with dates of 2010-2011 are hard and they have already completed their life and actually the tire should never be used for more then 4 years or 40000km. The tread will never finish completely i can show you Yokohama Advan which has done about 110K kms and has about 8-10% tread left but that high mileage tires cause bad effect on suspension make it weak and poor braking with bad road grip and when raining these skid alot. Never use used tyres as tire is a major component of your vehicle.
