Exclamation tappet problems in EFI cars

any expert could let me know the, how jammed/tighten tappets of efi cars affects on fuel consumption and idle ?
and car getting quick warm up in the morning (winter and summer both) but never over heated , but when bonnet opens its seems too much hot inside, some time look steam is coming out from it
is this the symptoms of tight tappets?
car doesnt get any red light.

your problem is quite different from mine, well i could suggest you to change your advancer and emulator, and make sure its air blockage in proper way, might be possible air intake problem is there that's why rpm fluctuating on cng only and pick up is not as much good as it should be..........
    Dear Shazz,

U are right Advancer replaced with the new one along with the back 4 Kabli coils. Mashallah car is now performing well, both in AC as well.

all of you are agree on this point, tappets really need adjustments and all of these problems due to this?
No, because we cannot actually see your car from the internet and setting the tappet gap is a regular tune job anyway.

well, thanks for response, to be honest I'm bit confused to perform this job,
because i have heard few of pakwheeler got the worst experiences with this,
following issues are here, and Im not sure these issues will be resolved by tappets adjustments or not
    1) idle
    2) quick warmup,
    3) fuel consumption
    4) the main problem when its hot and if get shut off, so restarting will be so difficult its taking 3 to 4 self with accelerator and engine start with dead mode some time after starting its seem again its going to be shut off.

the positive things are engine is quit sound no oil reducing, i never get any start up problem ever, even i start my car after 8 days

what the periodic adjustment time of tappets? and honda city idsi has normal tappets or hydraulic tappets?

Some times when fuel Pump relay starts failing the car will start without problems when it is cold. However, when the car has been operated at normal operating temperature for a while, it will refuse to start when the car is shut down and re-start is attempted while the car is still warm. After the car is allowed to sit and cool for some period of time will again start without problem. You can check the relay by using jumper wire when engine is hot.
IDSI has normal tappets and need to be adjusted after every 20,000 kms.
