Default Oil Change for my 2013 (Dec) 1.3 I-vtec city M/T

    Hello
I wanted to know which engine oil should I change to and when I should ?Considering engine friendly and better mileage please give me a clue to what engine oil is .Like keeping a check on it with the engine fuel stick thing. I know a few facts though but i wanted to get it straight from the experts .PS my car is almost 1900 km driven

Stick to Honda genuine synthetic oils. No need for zic xq. There are many fake zic products. God forbid something happens to your engine, armrest you can blame their oil. Haha.

^not really. A Nissan diesel truck takes more than 14 liters of oil at once and changes after 1500 km. So, it depends on oil grade, quality and engine health.

Bro it is not like that ...trust me...change interval depends on oil quality and ambient conditions...not on the formmula that you mentioned...and i have never seen any manufacturer recommending this...
Let me give you an example....i use Zic... now whether i use Zic OW or Zic Hiflo...car would require same 3.5lit of oil...recommended oil change interval from manufacturer for OW is 10k km and for Hiflo it is 3k km...Hiflo is normal mineral based oil while OW in highly refined fully synthetic oil...

Now the question that why everyone does not use thin synthetic oils ...answer is that as engine gets old its clearences increase and thin oils would start burning in cylinders....so ultimately if as engine gets older you need to shift to thicker oils...

    Exclamation Authorized dealer...

I own a 2013 (January) Honda City M/T and so far done 5700km and I just take it to the authorized Honda dealership for oil and filter change. I think the warranty requirement also stipulates that the car has to be maintained by an authorized Honda dealership till the warranty period exists. After that you can do as you wish. Thats what I do and thats what i have understood.

Well i personally think that oil change interval should be taken as recommended by oil manufacturer...everyday new oil tecgnologies are being introduced ...while owners manual just get printed once....secondly oil manufacturers know better how good their oil is...

I already know that. Good news again, Mobil1 offers that service as well.

Btw- why Dont you call zic and ask them if they can deliver to Rajanah, chak 285 G.B- 91 km from Faisalabad one way? Oh, they can't.

Zic was good before. Once something gets famous, it start getting copied.

Well good thing about Zic over other imported oils is that Zic has its official delaerships throughout the country...by the name "Zic Service Center"....Atleast i have seen few in Lahore, Faisalabad and Gujranwala....Although i am not assuming that every shop is a fraud but it better that whenever you want to have Zic visit these to get origional thing....

I would suggest Liqui moly 5w-30 synthetic oil. Using it in my city. Real peace of mind. One can delay the oil intervals upto atleast 8000km easily.

Man I would like to know what kmpl are you getting ,and wot grade of oil filter? and this stuff is really top class but I think in Pakistan one should stick to the desi stuff made to last in Pakistani conditions.as In other countries like US the speed limit is a serious thing .Which in Pakistan isnt among various factors as we know
